Our 8-Stage Manufacturing Process

Raw Material Sourcing & Inspection

Every production run begins with rigorous raw material sourcing. We procure premium hides — cowhide, lambskin, nappa, buffalo, and specialty leathers — from certified tanneries that meet our quality and ethical sourcing standards. All incoming material is inspected for grade, thickness consistency, texture, color uniformity, and defect presence before being approved for production. Only Grade A materials enter our cutting room.

Pattern Making & Grading

Our experienced pattern makers develop precise cutting patterns based on approved tech packs, client specifications, or our own design standards. Patterns are graded across the required size range using industry-standard grading rules. Digital pattern systems ensure accuracy and repeatability across production runs, eliminating human error in sizing and minimizing material wastage through optimized nesting.

Leather Cutting

The cutting department uses band-knife machines, die-cutting presses, and precision hand-cutting tools operated by skilled leather cutters with years of experience. Leather is cut with careful attention to grain direction, hide quality distribution, and panel matching. Defective areas are identified and routed away from critical visible panels, ensuring only the best portions of each hide are used for primary surfaces.

Preparation & Pre-Assembly

Cut panels undergo preparation operations including skiving (edge thinning for smooth seams), edge painting, heat-fusing of interlinings, and initial folding of hems and edges. Hardware components including zippers, buckles, snaps, and rivets are sorted and quality-checked before assembly begins. All thread colors are matched to approved samples.

Stitching & Assembly

Our stitching floor operates industrial sewing machines calibrated for leather — including single-needle, double-needle, bar-tacking, and post-bed machines suited for heavy leather work. Skilled tailors assemble garments and goods following detailed work instructions. Stitch density, seam allowances, and alignment tolerances are maintained to strict specifications. Zipper insertion, pocket attachment, lining installation, and hardware application all take place in this stage.

In-Line Quality Control

Quality control is integrated throughout the production process — not just at the end. Supervisors conduct in-line inspections at each workstation, measuring stitch quality, seam alignment, hardware function, and construction integrity. Any non-conforming units are flagged immediately and returned for correction, preventing defective work from progressing further through the line and compounding the cost of rework.

Finishing & Treatment

Finished products undergo a comprehensive finishing stage: edge finishing, thread trimming, leather conditioning and polishing, hardware cleaning, embossing of brand logos or labels, and final pressing/shaping. Lining is checked for cleanliness and adhesion. Products are treated with appropriate leather conditioners and protective sprays to ensure longevity and presentation quality upon delivery.

Final Inspection, Packing & Export

Every unit passes a thorough final inspection covering measurements, visual appearance, hardware function, stitching integrity, and labeling accuracy. Approved units are folded or hung, tissue-wrapped, bagged, and packed into export cartons with appropriate packing materials to prevent transit damage. Packing lists, shipping marks, and documentation are prepared in compliance with destination country import requirements and buyer specifications.
